Hey There...

So yea... Hi.

Haven't posted on here in near a year, honestly because I almost never have anything of interest to really say. I'm going to try and post some artwork on here at least once a week and actually get back into the swing of drawing and animating since I haven't done so since the end of my Thesis year. I managed to graduate, have the photocopy of my diploma hanging on my wall over my bed (my mom has the original).

Well, here's the first of (hopefully) many other artworks to be posted. I'm gonna cheat a little bit here and post something I did a while ago but never circulated around the interwebs. This was a character illustration from my Pitch Book from 4th year at SVA. Enjoy I guess.

(Pardon the horrible pixelization of the image ><;)

Scott Pilgrim vs. the World

Sooooooooo, I went to see Scott Pilgrim vs. the World the other day. I have never left a movie theatre as hyper and jittery after watching a film of sheer EPICNESS since god knows when. Actually, since The Dark Knight. So, a good LONG while ago.
From when the movie began to its wonderful ending I was filled with sheer joy and love in my heart. My friends were scared. At least the ones that know me anyway. Which happen to be in another state. And another island. Yeaaaaaaaaah...
ANYWAY!
It was brilliant. I highly recommend it to all. And Im going to get started on reading the comics as soon as I have enough money to actually get them heh.
ALSO!
I'm going to try really really REALLY hard to post up artwork on here and re-work this blog site a bit more so it can be viewed by potential employers *waves to potential employers*

Anyway, that's it for now.

Later.

Transformers Are Go

Ok, so going to the movies on a request from a friend yesterday actually turned out to be a really good idea.
I hadn't known that Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen had come out recently, I wasn't really keeping track of a lot of things that have been going on lately for lack of want to know and just plain lazyness. So imagine my surprise when one of my friends told me they were going to go see it last night. I was surprised the movie had come out and disappointed that I wouldn't be able to go and watch it with them since they're all a couple states away from me and no car could ever get me there fast enough. My friend insisted I go see it the same time they went to go see it, so I made a deal that if I found a movie time for Transformers that was around the same period of time they were going to see it I'd go and we could geek out over the phone after. Now, I only did this because I was sure there couldnt possibly be a movie showing at the exact same time that my friends were going to their movie, right? ...Right?
There it was, staring me right at the face. 10:15 pm, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, at the movie theater not ten minutes away from me. I purchased the tickets and was out the door before I even knew what I was doing.
All I can really say for the movie without revealing anything is that it was amazing beyond even what I thought was possible. The new designs they had come up with for some of the Autobots were cool, but the designs for the various forms of the Decepticons were much much cooler. Sorry Autobots, but Decepticons just look cooler, especially the big cat one. (I was a bigger fan of Transformers: Beast Wars than I was of the original Transformers, hoorah for feeding my inner nerd and child all at once) It was also much more brutal than the first one, but that's all I have to say for now. My recommendation is to go see this film immediately while it's still in theaters, this is not something you want to wait the DVD (Or Blu-ray) release of.

Till next time...
